Bahamian actress, artist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur Leah Eneas has impressed many in the recent months with her line of customized clothing and accessories made from crochet.
Leah learnt how to crochet at a young age and credits her grandmother for teaching her the craft. According to Leah her crochet business happened rather unexpectedly as she would make clothing to wear for herself and persons would show interest or inquire on how they could get something made for themselves.
As interest in her crochet products/designs grew, Leah's range also grew and it expanded into the Late Bloomer brand. In July 2012, she held her first fashion show showcasing her designs and talent. Leah's designs have been described as being not only functional but sexy, eye catching and a great fit for island wear.
As of late Leah has been featured in various media publications with focus on her crochet line and she has been garnering alot of attention. Leah is definately doing crochet her way!
