Make Me An Instrument of Your Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console,
not so much to be understood as to understand,
not so much to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
it is in dying that we awake to eternal life.
--- St. Francis of Assisi
Prayer For Peace Among Nations
O Almighty God,
the Father of all humanity,
turn, we pray, the hearts of all peoples and their rulers,
that by the power of your Holy Spirit
peace may be established among the nations
on the foundation of justice, righteousness and truth;
through him who was lifted up on the cross
to draw all people to himself,
your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
--- William Temple (1881-1944)
When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. ~ Marcus Aurelius

Let me start by saying that I very rarely go out these days BUT I am so glad that I did tonight. I went to see the production Sarah's Wedding and let me tell you I enjoyed every second of it. From start to finish I was just in awe at the talent that was being showcased in front of my eyes! The raw and gritty talent, the confidence and assurance and swagger that was present on that stage tonight was wonderful. I swear made me miss the days at THE DUNDAS all over again. :-)
I laughed throughout and almost shed a little tear (well almost lol) and I actually found myself "catchin' feelings" with that bachelorette party scene (yeah ya'll did good, and may God continue to bless ya'll lol) yup, yup. :-) Let me tell you these actors and actresses are not up there just because ... you could see and feel that there is a passion and a love for what they are bringing to the audience.
Now I'm not a "reviewer" type of gal and I don't do the whole nine yards (even though I should, plus it's like 12:40am and I am sleeeepy) ... I just rather say Nassau if you missed tonight you have until Sunday 10th August 2014 to get your act together!!! You really should not miss this show! :-)
